I feel like I've seen this before but it's not nominated so I decided to watch it again. Really like the opening with Hogan pinballing Bock everywhere and the stuff out of the bearhug was actually shockingly compelling. Bock really bumped big in this and I liked how he targetted the eyes as sort of his best hope to survive. They do a great job in this match teasing that Bock is done and feeding the Hulk Up spots which get shot down time after time. Hogan ends up busted open from Heenan and they do a bit with Hogan "winning" and getting DQ'ed after using the foreign object that had been tossed into the ring by Heenan. Not as good as their Super Sunday match, but something that I enjoyed.

Hulk Hogan v. Nick Bockwinkel Low End Nomination - AWA Super Mix #9

- I liked this more than Dylan, probably because I am a mark for good Hogan matches. It’s funny because Bock had been fighting guys like Verne, the High Flyers, Mad Dog, etc. for years and then this muscle freak just mauls him and he has no idea how to combat it. Every slam, every strike just kills Bock. I watched the History of the AWA (WWE version) recently and it was so apparent that Verne should have just given the keys to the house to Hogan but hubris got in the way. Not as exciting as the famous match but with no clipping, it was also easier to watch. Solid nomination.
