On the defensive he bumped well, took the other teams offense great and generally looked like he fit. On the offensive he was stiff and hit some cool looking shit. The near fall segment was decent and led to a stereo dive spot that left Funaki and Hamada alone in the ring. Funaki's bump for the top rope rana from Hamada fucking ruled it. Another cool dive sequence and they go into a neat segment with Yakushiji throwing out rana attempts only to be caught in submissions the first of which was broken up and the second of which was the finish. This was the first match to feel like a real "MPro" style match. Not sure how much was missing on the front end of this and it was far from perfect but this feels like a good baseline nomination to get things rolling.
