Posted September 3, 201114 yr comment_5481816 East-West Connection v. High Flyers We have this already Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie v. Nick Bockwinkel We have this already. Sheik Adnan Al-Kaisse v. Baron Von Raschke JIP, but this is actually a lot of fun. Baron is really over and Adnan is really hated so the crowd is into it. Adnan bleeds and they do some cool shit with the claw. Funny moment as Adnan starts to apply an ab stretch wrong and has to walk around to lock it on right. Some fun visuals in this and the foreign object finish worked well enough. Very little shown but I enjoyed what was there. High Flyers v. Rick Martel/Tito Santana JIP at 22 mins or so. The Flyers work on Tito is sharp, but Tito fires back fairly quick and Martel comes in to immediately lock on a Boston Crab on Greg. The offense both of these teams use in this one is really good shit and ahead of the curve. Really love the fired up Brunzell on the apron freaking out after Greg takes big move after big move and the hot tag to Jim is really good too. Martel breaking up the Gagne sleeper with a backbreaker is an awesome near fall spot. Tito's string of dropkicks leading to his insane bump over the top to the floor fucking ruled. I've watched this before but decided to watch it again. It's really angering that this doesn't exist in full or anything close to it. What is shown here is awesome. Definite EXTRA King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell We have this already High Flyers v. Rick Martel/Tito Santana JIP. Love the fast and furious takedown and reversal exchange with Martel and Gagne. Future Strike Force works the shit out of the headlock, but I thought it was done well with the ups for highspots that you need to keep things from being boring. Greg trying to break the tension with a seated cravate was cool and the crack with the leg he gives to Martel to set up the tag to Brunzell was great. Martel was fucking awesome just fiery up on Brunzell immediately and dragging him down to the ground stopping him in his tracks. They keep working the headlock as a base and keep coming up for highspots so I'm still digging things. Small clip here, but they cut back to the action with Tito tagging in and Brunzell doing a cool rolling escape leg snap, tagging straight to Gagne who hits a great looking diving knee and then going to his awesome Indian Deathlock variation thing. Awesome spot as Tito gets to the ropes, but Jim tags in and immediately drags him center ring and locks on a figure-four. Tito kicks off of a second attempt and Martel comes in showing awesome fire again and just lights up Brunzell with forearms to his kidneys and a heaving body slam. Great spot as Martel is targetting the back and hits a backbreaker but hurts his own knee in the process. They go to a reset with Santana getting tagged at the same time as greg. Tito runs in for a leaping dropkick and Greg just moves and gives him an awesome "fuck you" look and goes straight to work on the leg. Tito frantically kicks off and quick tags in Martel who pens up on Greg in nasty fashion and fucking creams him with an elbow drop for a near fall. Martel is awesome selling frustration of not winning with the near falls he is rattling off and Brunzell is great on the apron freaking the fuck out and practically begging Greg to kick out at one point literally leaping into the air on a Tito near fall off of a crossbody. Greg locks on a sleeper but Tito rolls through and looks to go back to work. He goes for an atomic drop, but while he is in the air Greg leans back and tags Brunzell. Greg takes the big bump but Tito turns around straight into a Brunzell dropkick that fucking murders him. Seriously one of the nastiest looking dropkicks in the history of wrestling which makes a great finish. This is holy shit great. I have no clue how much of this we are missing, but this has to be on the set in some form. Definite EXTRA and I'm nominating it and praying to God we have at least half this match (it seems like we do, but it's hard to say for sure).
