There are like fifty rope runing spots at the beginning of this and they are all pretty impressive. I mean I don't really want to watch Zhukov and Greg in a rope running exchange but Zhukov was in good place for everything. Snuka coming in and hitting the double leapfrog spot and then Nord taking a ridiculous bump for Snuka chop was good shit too. Amazingly they come back in and go to another rope running spot that ends with Nord clotheslining Snuka. Greg ends up doing the more extended FIP later in the match which is probably the wisest option. Decent heat segment on Greg with Snuka getting the hot tag and running through the heels. Verne gets on the sleeper and then there is a weird finish with all hell breaking loose and Verne decking someone with a roll of coins or God knows what. This is probably Verne's last match on tape, so it should make the set in some form, but I think it's tough going to get this on as a top 100 or even 150. EXTRA

Greg Gagne/Verne Gagne/Jimmy Snuka v. Nord Barbarian/Boris Zhukov/Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie Low End Nomination - AWA Super Mix #7

- I find it interesting that Snuka is playing the FIP role when you have skinny Greg and old Verne right there. It’s like a tag match with Chavo Jr., Chavo Classic and Umaga with Umaga playing FIP. Snuka gets the tag to Greg and he gets beat on and it feels right. Match starts to slow down with Zhukov sucking but Nord picks it back up, setting Greg up for a bearhug. Ending with Verne cleaining house, using a a foreign object on Sheik and not pinning the legal man was clusterfuckitty but I enjoyed the match. Still, looking at it from a set perspective, it isn’t something I would fight for. Low end sounds right.
