Really tremendous match, feels right up there with the best stuff of the decade. Chicana is going to come out of this set with a huge reputation boost. Everything you want from a crazy lucha apuestas brawl. Blood, fans brawling with wrestlers, dudes ripping out rows of chairs and throwing them at each other, great punches, insane topes. Some pretty dramatic near falls at the ends, and a finish which felt earned. Really exciting discovery.

Caballera contra Caballera: Sangre Chicana vs. Perro Aguayo (2/28/86)

This is a hair match and these guys fight like it is extremely important which an apuestas match is supposed to be. These guys are brawling in the crowd and the fans are brawling which is awesome. Total war here as they trade some awesome punches to go along with the other assorted violence mixed in with great spots such as the awesome topes. The crowd is molten for this and this was a total showcase for both men. Slam dunk nomination.

This felt a little clippy at points in the second fall, but I don't think we were really robbed of a whole lot. This was totally awesome. I'm guessing Chicana will get the Fujiwara bump from this set, and he deserves it. Really gives us a better sense of what Perro was capable of in his prime, too. This will be near the top of my ballot.
