Bello David & Rudy Reyna vs. Centurion Negro & Chamaco Maravilla

 

Super fun match. It's a grainy handheld, so it's kind of hard to tell who's who (Reyna and David looked almost identical body-wise and hair-wise, they just had different colored trunks, and I'm pretty positive Negro is the only guy here in a mask), but this was a blast. The exoticos were SO good here, just awesome comedy, super fast bumping (they take armdrags so fast it made my head spin), just great work overall. First fall was worked as if it was a 1 caida match, with comedy spots building into faster work and nearfalls, but turns out it is 3 falls and rudos come back and win the 2nd and 3rd. Rudos are just really really great here, working some lightning fast segments, busting out random cool offense (really cool press slam powerslam by one of the exoticos). Match was a real good time that didn't really build anywhere, but was 20+ plus minutes of really fun work and solid action. NOMINATE.

 

Monumental Monterey Vol. 2

This was pretty good but damn this was hard to watch due to the darkness and it being so grainy. The match would've had to have been Santo/Espanto level great to warrant consideration with this VQ. I can't go for a nomination here.
