Posted October 11, 201114 yr comment_5484899 This was a ton of fun, with a great, high-energy tecnico performance from the Javiers and the Bravos being vicious bastards. I thought the build in this match was actually really good, establishing the blood feud between Valaguez and Guerrero Negro with Negro biting his head open and all, and culminating in a one-on-one showdown between the two that (mostly) decides the match. Also had a little bit of fun post-match brawling after Valaguez challenged Negro to a caballero vs. caballero match, and I'm hoping we have that somewhere. [Classic Lucha 1986-87]

Plus you get blood from Cruz which I wasn't expecting and it added more to the match. The intensity was really strong to go along with the fast pace not to mention the crazy dives and bumps by both teams. The finish was great as well and fit in with how the match was going and this is a solid nomination.

Los Bravos - El Dandy/Talisman/Guerrero Negro vs. Los Javieres - Javier Cruz/Javier Rocca/Javier "Chamaco" Valaguez Lots of energy here with people doing a lot of things, Cruz does a nasty blade job too, and early rudo Dandy is pretty cool to see. Still the match felt like it was building to something that never happened. I am going to go No for now, although I could be talked into it.
