December 30, 201212 yr comment_5524557 I think they were trying to do a Superman III thing where he was progressively getting to be more and more of a dick (only not because of tar-lace kryptonite, instead because of washed up wrestlers with goofy gimmicks). I'm not an expert on 1995 WCW so I look forward to watching the rest of the year to see if there's a payoff moment where he goes back to being "good" but since it's WCW, I'm not counting on it.

Hogan butchers both a Bible verse and an FDR quote in the same breath. Hogan is whinier and more insecure now that he's in black, like an emo teenager, but isn't really committing to going all-in with this Dark Hogan gimmick.
July 19Jul 19 comment_6032624 Hogan sounds like Donald Trump in this promo. Paranoid, aggrieved, bitching & moaning, trying to act rough but is a total chump. I love Bischoff Matrix Booking where the Nitro Six (Hogan, Savage, Sting, Luger, Flair and Giant) are all at each others throats but this came off unprovoked which is the problem. It felt really random. Dark Side Hogan just sounds like whiny, insecure Hogan not a Bad Man.
