Posted October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486275 It seems like this is really being slept on here, especially in the wake of the James Storm TNA Title win at the iMPACT tapings . Has there been any word yet on how much control Bruce actually has over the product?
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486277 It mentions in the current Observer that Hogan and Bischoff have final say over the product even with the big Pritchard push.
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486278 From the Observer It was noted regarding the decision making that going with Angle over Roode was purely a Hogan call, and it was noted no matter what name is in what position and what is said publicly about Bruce Prichard, Vince Russo, or even Dixie Carter, that the major decisions are all Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486287 I must have missed it when Hogan and Bischoff literally took over TNA. When in the hell did that really happen?
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486290 It was weird because in the radio interviews last week, it didn't sound like Hogan had all that much creative power.
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486293 As best I can tell the chain of creative command goes something like this Vince Russo = still main wrighter of the shows Prichard = in charge of editing the shows Russo writes Hogan & Bischoff = above both but don't care much about the day to day shit so only make creative calls ocasionally
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486294 What I don't understand is that if Hogan and Bischoff are in charge of the big stuff, why did they allow the writers to push Roode so hard in the first place if he wasn't the "right guy"? Maybe they have only recently gained total control, thus scrapping Roode for Storm (who I think is the much better main event prospect anyway, but hotshotting the title to him seems like the wrong way to go about things).
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486297 I think Hulk Hogan's power and interest in using that power diminished as his contract came up for renewal. Now that he's re-signed with TNA his power has returned.
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486307 As best I can tell the chain of creative command goes something like this Vince Russo = still main wrighter of the shows Prichard = in charge of editing the shows Russo writes Hogan & Bischoff = above both but don't care much about the day to day shit so only make creative calls ocasionally Right now I think Russo is in charge of formatting the shows. That is why their is heat on Lagana because Pritchard brought him in to be a formatter, and thus making Russo obsolete. Yet they haven't pulled the trigger on Lagana and have told people that Lagana will have nothing to do with the Impact shows when it comes to formatting.

October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486321 Humbug, that's a lot of needless bureaucracy. Seriously. Too many cooks. And wasn't the only reason Roode won the BFG series because Crimson got injured? I thought the idea all along was that it was a vehicle to push Crimson, who Hogan/Bischoff are super high on for some inexplicable reason. I'd like to think the recent booking is all being done to get the belt on Roode eventually, probably after a heel turn, and that Hogan's comments about him were all part of an (in their minds) elaborate work.....but it's impossible to give TNA the benefit of the doubt on anything
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486332 Crimson's injury was a work so they could have him go undefeated throughout the tournament and yet not win it. Roode was the guy from day one.
October 20, 201113 yr comment_5486340 TNA Impact appeared on Hulu this week for streaming and it's not Online only like WWE programming is.
October 21, 201113 yr comment_5486364 If it was Prichard's idea to have a 45 minute opening talking segment to start a show, I don't think I'm gonna like his run. That was just awful.
October 21, 201113 yr comment_5486373 I thought the show was pretty awful beyond belief. Again people bitch about how bad the WWE has been recently and I don't really disagree but this show was so much worse even with a guy that I have always been a fan of winning the companies top title. Long boring opening promo, more awful Jeff Hardy trying to look tough shit, awful Knockouts segment, terrible acting from Bisch during the Hogan stuff, and a non-match on a title switch that came off as a joke instead of the big moment it should have been. Utter pile of shit show.
October 21, 201113 yr comment_5486375 I thought it was terrible as well, I don't get why there needs to a 40 minute talking segment to open the show. Are people not able to get matches and angles over anymore with short promos?
October 27, 201113 yr comment_5486823 Latest set of taping results look pretty decent. Appears to be some stupid booking decisions as usual like the TNA Title match for the next PPV not being announced until the last segment of the go home show. Lotta guys I like being bogged down working shitty guys I don't. Bubba Ray vs Anderson, Jarrett vs Hardy, Pope vs Crimson. Really crap looking Bischoff family feud and Jersey Shore crap. But the Roode vs Storm, Daniels vs AJ and Kid Kash vs Austin Aries vs Sorenson 3 way feuds + Gail Kim returning all look good so I might check it out if i'm home and awake when it's on.
October 27, 201113 yr comment_5486824 The name of this thread should probably be renamed: Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff now the most powerful people in TNA
October 27, 201113 yr comment_5486828 The supposed main event of Lockdown 2012 does not sound very appealing on paper.
