I liked this way more than Phil, and I think it's actually a pretty easy nomination. Crazy, all-out brawl that built to a great mano a mano Perro/Cien exchange where Cien eventually flips out and fouls Perro. Maybe not an ideal finish, but I don't think it hurt the match, and everything else leading up to it was through the roof. Cien was totally king-sized beating the shit out of dudes. Definitely the kind of match where you watch it and then listen to Meltzer's anti-Dinamitas shit and just shake your head. Everyone here wrestled like the guys on the other team owed them money.

Perro Aguayo/MS-1/Satanico vs. Cien Caras/La Fiera/Herodes (11/30/84)

 

Perro & Cien are in a war here with the others trying to catch up and they do a good job of bringing hate as well. Fun seeing the Infernales play as Perro's henchmen especially MS-1 who was working as the heavy here against Herodes who was definitely the heavy on his team. Herodes was really fun here and I would've loved to have seen him & MS-1 in a hair match. Fiera & Satanico then had some issues with each other and that had the potential of being another awesome hair match. The tope suicida dive train was fucking great and it left Perro & Cien all alone to do battle which was going really well before Cien fouled Perro which was a flat finish for this time period although today it would fit right in. The match was a blast but that finish was really bad and hurts the match although I will still pass this on as a low-end pick mainly for the hatred.
