Egipico isn't very good and at all, and Rayo has some nice spots but is pretty green. I think this is a nomination although it may be the floor of what we go for Classic Lucha Vol 6
July 18, 201213 yr comment_5510494 Mascara contra Mascara: Rayo de Jalisco Jr. vs. El Egipcio (12/9/83) This was Rayo's first big mask match and while he is inexperienced he has a pretty good match with Egipcio which was something since Egipcio wasn't really that good in the ring. It had the blood and the crowd heat you wanted in a match like this plus it has historical significance which adds to the allure of the match. I think this should be on the set but as a low-end pick.
August 7, 201312 yr comment_5555137 Rayo De Jalisco Jr. vs. El Egipcio, 12/9/83 (LUCHA CLASSICS VOL 6) - I enjoyed the mask tearing and bloodletting and I thought Rayo was really fun in this. Egipcio’s mask really sucked so I am glad he lost it However, I am torn on a nomination. This isn’t the best hair match, mask match, blood match or something I could see anyone putting in their top half with the high quality on this set. I liked this but it isn’t storng enough to go in without further review.
