November 13, 201113 yr comment_5488188 Ok, that looks new, but I'll reserve judgement on the AWA stuff as he has claimed mutliple times over the years that he has 80-83 AWA tapes in his parents attic and just needed to get them. Nothing ever came of it. If the Winnipeg stuff is pre-1984, it's new. The AGPW stuff is probably what is already out there, no? Quebec and International Wrestling I would read as being the same thing unless a clear separation was noted. If someone has his e-mail address, PM it to me and I'll see if I can get any clarification. If the 8083 AWA stuff is the real deal, I believe it will dramatically improve the offerings for the AWA set.

Here was his e-mail response to me when I inquired about the footage: I'd have to look at what I posted on CM or go to my other email account for all the details. money wise I am good. It's just with the sad state of the hobby, I don't think much of this will get out. I have a WCCW project to work on consisting of transfering about 50 tapes but that guy is being a slow pain as well. He asked me about transfering some tapes back in August and he still hasn't sent them yet. That project is first then I will move on to that. I'm not sure what he means by not much of this getting out, unless he will only release it if he gets a certain mount of signups/$$$ to process it. It doesn't sound like it's imminent that the AWA stuff will get transferred. Telling him about the project might expedite the process, or perhaps offering to do the tape buy and converting it ourselves. I don't know how he would feel about that.
November 14, 201113 yr comment_5488278 Jesus fucking christ....I am the guy with 50 tapes of WCCW. I told him it would be awhile, Its not like he paid for the tapes. I bought the tapes myself. I asked if he could convert them and send me copies on discs back to me. He probably is just upset because he wants to get a shill of the stuff on CMAX and make some money. I work a lot right now but things are finally slowing down I will get them to him in a week or two. I actually like Romdam but we have different priorities when it comes to situations like this. he just wants the footage and run a shill on cmax. I am just a collector, if I have stuff that is new and you guys don't have, I share it with Will and whoever. I just hope it can help with the projects, they are by far the best thing in the trading community. I wrote him and told him lets do the newly discovered tapes first. I even offered to front the money for the tapes. He is OBSESSED with transferring the WCCW stuff first while I would rather do the other batch.
