Baon Von Raschke v. Krusher Kraugnoff

Tongard has now learned the Krusher's real last name. Not the match tomk is looking for, but I did like symbolism of this. Sort of had a Harry Turtledove alt history concept to it "What if the American's had sided with Nazi's did to take down the Soviets?"

Solidat/Khan pre-tape

Badd Company/DDP promo. Man early DDP was rich.

Solidad Ustinov v. Greg Robertson

This happened.

Madusa pre-tape

AWA history lesson on the tag titles.

Jerry Lawler v. Dennis Stamp

For the four minutes this lasted it was awesome. Stamp would have been a great opponent for Lawler in the late 70's and he was really good in this setting as the grizzled vet who was super excited to get his shot at the champ. Loved his back hand chop to the face of Lawler, his hairpull headlock and cheap shot punches. Hennig shows up and causes a distraction leading to a big bump from Jerry to the floor. Jerry's comeback is quick and the win clear which keeps this from getting and endorsement.

High Flyers v. Strike Force clips for the Mat Classic

Curt Hennig promo complaining about the rip off title switch to Lawler. Good promo. EXTRA

Curt Hennig v. Jerry Lawler

This is the title switch at the MSC, JIP and I believe is ineligeble for this set. This should be an EXTRA

Big K running down the talent yet again. This stuff is so ridiculous.

Verne Gagne with two amateur wrestling twins

Madusa v. Heidi Lee Foreman

Decent match. Lee Marshall is a pervert.

Rocky Mountain Thunder v. Kevin Collins

Another near murder of a jobber.

Badd Company/DDP promo. Did these RnR matches they are setting up ever happen?

Jerry Lawler v. Darryl Nickle

Nickle is no Dennis Stamp but this is still pretty fun. Hennig is out at ringside again and climbs into the ring after Nickle takes a slingshot into the ringpost (the move that cost Hennig the belt). Hennig ends up taking some lunatic bumps, but they don't throw the match out and Lawler pins Nickle a few minutes later. This might actually be an EXTRA

Mr. Saito/Riki Choshu v. Houdini/Greg Robertson

Trongard says the "continent of Japan" is represented. Um. Pretty much a mauling.

Madusa/Debby Combs promo

Mad Dog Vachon/Nick Bockwinkel Mat Classic

Curt Hennig promo.

The Big K is at it again being the Big K. This guy is unreal.

Jerry Lawler promo conducted by Lance Russell.

Paul Diamond v. Derrick Dukes

This is kind of an introductory match for Dukes as he takes a lot of the match and is pretty over with the Showboat crowd. Lots of headlock/leg scissors stuff but it gives Dukes a chance to make Diamond look like a fool. Diamond comes back with a sick hot shot, fucking kills him with a clothesline for one near fall and then hits a sick dropkick where he lands on Dukes on the way down for a really great near fall that Dukes milked really well. Dukes starts in with a comeback but DDP interferes, only for Dukes to make another comeback with the ten count turnbuckle smash and a diving shoulderblock. DDP gets on the apron again and Dukes decks him to the floor which gives Diamond the chance for a roll up finish. This could have used another minute or two, but I thought the second half of it was really good.
