Jammer has his skateboard with him which is actually even sillier than Brad's sunglasses. Tommy Jammer v. Tom Burton For some reason they gave Burton a lot of kick outs in this one. Weird. Mike Enos promo Ricky Rice promo Stan Hansen/Terry Gordy v. Yatsu/Jumbo This is from Japan Larry Z promo. He calls out all the other wrestlers on Earth again. The Destruction Crew v. The Top Guns I'm not ashamed to say this is a match I really, really wanted to see. Opening stuff with Enos and Rice was kind of rough, though not awful. I really liked Derrick Dukes Russian legsweep on Bloom and in general he was the smoothest guy in the opening of the match. Rice goes FIP and the heels cut off the ring on him and take turns heaving him down with really impactful looking body slams. Nice dead life suplex on Rice by Enos. Hot tag is unevetful. Lame botched finish. Too bad. I really wanted to like this. Greg Gagne promo on drugs! Paul Diamond promo Col. Debeers v. Red Tyler Not a very good Debeers squash. Greg on drugs again! Manny Fernandez sit down promo with Bill Apter on Wahoo complaining about Civil Rights abuses. The Nomad v. Steve Ray Boy The Nomad really no sold that nut shot. That was odd to say the least. This seemed to go on for a long time and wasn't very good. Larry Z promo - HE'S SHOOTING ON THE NWA AND WWF AGAIN Baron Von Raschke v. Jimmy Garvin JIP. Mat Classic. We have this in full elsewhere. Wahoo McDaniel/Tom Zenk v. Larry Zbyszko/Manny Fernandez The opening headlock work was nothing special but did look pretty tight. Manny whiffed on a falling headbutt which was a good looking spot. Really liked Wahoo's reverse arm wringer esacape thingy on Larry Z who of course complained of a hair pull. Heels take over on Wahoo when Manny STABS HIM IN THE HEAD. I have no clue what the weapon was but the camera angle made it look like a knife. Then Manny comes in and pummels him like only Manny can including a chop to the face that Lee Marshall seriously flips his shit for. Wahoo tries to make a comeback but gets whipped into the knee of Larry for another sick shot. Manny catches him with the back fist right in the face and hits a corner splash, but misses another allowing Wahoo to get the tag. Manny bumps like crazy and runs through a sick looking elbow from Zenk. Zenk hits a nice body press on Manny for a near fall and then all hell breaks lose. End result is Larry getting pinned off a Wahoo chop which was kind of uneventful but an appropriate ending for the match. Post-match Larry rightfully notes he wasn't the legal man. This was a lot of fun. Hector/Mando Guerrero v. Jake Millliman/? Butler Man Milliman is a fun opponent for the Guerreros as he takes things really awkwardly but not in a bad way and the Guerrero's entire gimmick at this point was using guys as apparatus for various off the wall spots. Mando fucking kills the Butler guy with a jackhammer at one point. Finish was sick. DDP promo with a Diamond Doll in a bikini. Holy shit this is insane. They are in front of a blue screen, Page is wearing a Macho Man style jacket and is channeling Dusty Rhodes. EXTRA Finishing stretch of the Top Guns/Destruction Crew and Wahoo/Zenk v. Larry/Manny matches shown. Greg Gagne v. Rick Curtis This was actually a competitive match and a fairly decent one. Greg got in his nice monkey flip spot and Curtis was servicable with the standard heel tactics. Tom Zenk promo Ken Patera sit down with Bill Apter. Pretty typical, boring Patera promo from this period Mat Classic with Bobo Brazil and Baron Von Raschke Sgt. Slaughter v. Col Debeers Sarge is doing arm bars and fireman carry's early. The Col. combats this by kneeing him in the balls and raking his eyes on the top rope. Sarge takes a big bump to the floor after a shot from the Col's "steel toed boot." Sarge gets kept at bay on the floor by the Col which was an AWA staple. Sarge fights back in and teases a comeback but gets cut off before Debeers takes a big bump in the corner with Sarge doing the old leg press in the corner spot. Sarge busts out a fucking chop to the throat and a sic front elbow of all things. Cool spot as Debeers just dropped to the ground to avoid the Cobra Clutch, so Sarge hit him with a lariat and tried again only for the Col. to use the same tactic. Debeers bumps to the floor off of a back elbow and gets smashed hard into the table by Sarge. Strange spot as DDP was supposed to grab Sarge's leg on a suplex but misses a cue and Debeers takes an awkward bump halfway on his head and half way on Sarge for a near fall. Debeers gets bumped wildly to the floor and page ends up in the ring where he takes a clothesline really shittily and appears to chuckle at the effects of the Cobra Clutch. I liked the body of this, but the finish really kind of kills it. Verne Gagne promo talking about the future of the AWA
