Sgt. Slaughter v. Tokyo Bullet

Tokyo Bullet is the worst name ever and the guy playing tis gimmick has a hilarious get up as he basically looks like George Costanza wearing a cheap standard issue wrestling mask. Slaughter won with a diving clothesline.

Destruction Crew promo. Wayne Bloom notes that the Army doesn't care about Indians.

Larry Zbyszko v. ?

I missed the jobbers name. Not as good as the other Larry squash but he won with a suplex which sounds stupid, but looked really convincing.

Scott Norton is back out challenging dudes to arm wrestling contests.

Mat Classic Scott Hall/Blackwell/Hennig v. Stomper/Zhukov/Nord

Larry Z shows up at the arm wrestling table absent Norton and goes on a massive rant. Another good Larry rant.

Paul Diamond v. Akio Sato

I really liked there sprint from the big show in 89. This has a fun rope running spot early, Diamond punching Johnny Stewart pre-match, and more development. I'm not sure it's as good a match though. Sato getting slammed off the top rope was a good spot to set up the lengthy bit building to the foreign object shot but all to go to a fucking nerve hold? I did like the transition to Diamond's comeback and Sato's bumping was entertaining. But Sato's control segment left a lot to be desired. Sato ends up getting DQ'ed for beating him to shit with a kendo stick which manages to keep me from feeling compelled to nominate this. Post-match might be an EXTRA

Greg Gagne v. Mike George

This sucked. George is kind of fun to watch unprofessionally assaulting jobbers, but he's not going to stiff the bosses kid that way. Adnan heitting the ring to attack Greg and the ref was fun I guess

Larry Zbyszko v. Sgt. Slaughter

The beginning of this is neat as instead of Larry stalling his ass off it is Larry playing the fool and getting bumped around, one upped, et. Funny moment as Larry clutches his balls to avoid a cheap shot so Sarge punches him in the face. Tide changes with Sarge taking his lunatic bump over the top to the concrete. Larry follows this up by bumping Sarge wildly onto the ringside table. Sarge sells forever on the floor while Larry Z fucks with the turnbuckle cover. Larry gets a near fall after bashing Sarge into the exposed turnbuckle. Larry ends up going for his big piledriver but Sarge back body drops out. Sarge starts hulking up and reals off a string of punches knocking Larry on his ass. Slaughter goes for his diving clothesline, but Larry Z ducks and Slaughter fucking KILLS the ref with this. Slaughter locks on the Cobra Clutch after Larry gets bumped into the steel turnbuckle. A different ref hits the ring and rings the bell for the "title switch."

Post-match Gary Derusha is pissed and says Slaughter clotheslined him and is DQ'ed. Ref Tom Burton says it was accidental and claims Slaughter ist he champ. Joe Blanchard says they will settle it privately. EXTRA
