Show opens with Joe Blanchard's full statement about why the TCS matches will be from a secure facility. EXTRA

Destruction Crew v. Frankie DeFalco/Chris Curtis

Fun match from the secure location! Post-match in ring interview with the DC and Johnny V was entertaining too.

Tommy Jammer v. Doug Somers

Well I love Doug Somers so I was actually excited to see this. The opening stuff was elementary but well executed. I did love Jammer taunting Somers with his muscles and Somers slipping out of the headlock. Really liked his offense also as he looked stiff, mean and nasty. I was on the way to saying this should be a nomination when Somers got DQ'ed for a wild posting. Too bad.

Col. Debeers v. Rick Schroeder

Totally awesome squash as Debeers sells for him out the gate and then reals off some sick offense before winning with the cattle branding.

Larry Zbyszko promo.

Magnificent Mimi/Pat Tanaka v. Candi Divine/Paul Diamond

Tanaka is great in this, throwing insane strikes, taking a lunatic bump for a Diamond clothesline, et. Heels are really funny as they keep tagging out each time they get in trouble which kills any momentum the faces have. Tanaka does a great floatover escape on a back body drop and hits a great superkick. Mimi fucking hits an awesome looking missle dropkick on Diamond at this point too. Some of the girl spots are shitty but the finish with Tanaka pulling the hair of Candi as she came off the ropes was hysterical. For matches in the pink studio this has to have been one of the best.

Jerry Blackwell music video to Thank God I'm A Country Boy!!! EXTRA

Jerry Blackwell v. Tom Stone

Blackwell hadn't really been around in forever at this point and got by far the biggest pop I've seen from 89 AWA upon an entrance. Blackwell looked really motivated here and worked super hard, including hitting a dropkick and a really great looking running splash. This was a lot of fun.

Blackwell promo. Adnan shows up and asks for him to come back into his fold. Adnan hands him an envelope filled with cash from the Oil Sheiks. Blackwell says he appreciates the money as a gift but he'll never work for him. EXTRA

Destruction Crew/Larry Zbyszko v. Tommy Jammer/Scott Norton/The Trooper

The security guards in the "secure location" escorting Johnny V away from the commentary table was fucking hilarious. Both Bloom and Enos are very good at bumping and stooging and so is Larry so the face shine was pretty good. I really liked Bock on commentary lambasting The Trooper for not locking in a single crab on Enos. Really cool camera angle on a missed Bloom corner charge as he takes the bump damn near on the lens of the camera. Annoyingly there is no sustained heat segment in this, but then there is no crowd so what is the point? Jammer ends up playing something of an FIP, but he's getting in his licks on the DC's the whole time. Hot tag and Trooper gets an immediate fall off of a body press on Larry Z. Bizarre match where everything was executed well, but the structure and flow was really lacking.

Jammer/Trooper/Norton promo.
