This is the Fulton brothers, not Fulton and Rogers. The shine segment they start with is pretty great as the Crew bumps well and the Fultons are good at lighting them up with the dropkicks. Jackie hitting a nice spinkick off a rope running spot was a pleasant surprise. Funny spot as Bloom stands up Fulton on a couple of shoulder blocs and calls for another so Bobby dropkicks him and then stiffs him with an uppercut. Fuck Bobby Fulton is doing rope walk armdrags in this too? God damn Enos takes a lunatic bump on his face off of a nice Jackie diving clothesline and then a huge bump on a corner charge. Fuck the shine goes on forever but they do a bunch of really great spots, including a crazy roll through on a powerslam attempt and another awesome spot where Bloom goes to cheapshot Bobby on the apron as he comes off the ropes and Bobby drops him with a right. Bobby ends up getting caught on a second attempt though and slammed/posted on the floor to go FIP. Really nice powerslam from Enos but he pulled up on the near fall. Bobby's Fip is filled to the brim with teased comebacks, but he sells well throughout and there are some very nice near falls. Hot tag leads to some nice double teams and bumps, including a cannonball spot by the Fantastics. Valiant jumps in the ring with a foreign object for the dq. Shine was really fucking fun, but probably too long and the FIP was far too short. But this was a good way to introduce the Fantastics and Blackwell making the save on the post-match beatdown makes me want to lobby for this.

AWA World Tag Titles: The Destruction Crew (Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos) © vs. The Fantastics (Bobby & Jackie Fulton) (11/18/89)

The Fants were a good team for the Crew to play off of here and what they needed as they had the fiery offense that the Crew could bump and sell off of. Bobby & Jackie weren't quite Bobby & Tommy yet but they did their job well and Bobby seemed extra motivated here which he needed to be since Tommy wasn't there to carry the load workwise. This was early domination here as the Crew had no offense for the first 7 minutes until Enos would knee Bobby from behind to Bloom on the floor who hit a really soft slam before posting him. Bobby did really good as the FIP as he had quite a bit of hope spots here and the Crew did a good job of facilitating that. Jackie would get the hot tag and he was fun running wild before Bobby would join the fun for the 4-way brawling and this was good stuff until Johnny Valiant interfered for the DQ. I agree that the psychology was messed up here as the FIP section was criminally short but everything was done well so I'm pushing this forward as a nomination.
