I really want to see Tanaka more than any of these other guys but in the early going his biggest contribution is getting decked by Diamond while he's on the apron. Heels isolate Diamond and go to work on his leg and that becomes the story of the match. I'm not going to lie and say I didn't want some big Tanaka spots, but this was well done tag work. Tanaka hits a great spike DDT on Diamond on an attempted comeback, but Diamond comes back on the second attempt with an atomic drop. Finish is pretty cool as Trooper press slams Tanaka and Diamond gordbusters Sato onto Tanaka before pinning him. Well structured match albeit not quite what I had hoped for on paper.

The match had a slower pace although Diamond did well working as the FIP plus the finish run was nice but I don't think there is enough here for a nomination.
