Also: Briscos/WGTT again? Plus the millionth Davey/Eddie match. Why does ROH always do this, running a feud into the ground long past the point where practically anyone wants to see it?

Well, I mean, I'm not sure. I could wager a guess, which would be something about involving the thin roster and not having any stars, but really I just don't know. Granted that is probably a rhetorical question anyway. No one there really entices me to make a purchase. I think Kevin Steen is better than anyone in the World Title match and he's just slopped on at the end in an "also including!" sentence. I like Michael Elgin too but I don't know how good he is against guys that he can't just man-handle. Which I guess isn't a problem in ROH since the World Champion is under 6' &

 

I like the Briscoes but I don't want to watch All Night Express, Worlds Greatest Tag Team or the Young Bucks work. So, welp. If I'm being honest, I don't even know who Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls are.

 

I'm hoping that Steen just beats Davey for the title and then ROH turns a corner. Who knows when, or if, that will happen though.

Is the name of the show Of Hons Ow? Because based on that poster, that's what it looks like. So Bush league.

A different angle would have worked wonders, instead we have Roddy and Eddie looking like bird chested guys with bad haircuts.

I think they're going to end up waiting too long to give Steen the title and kill some of his momentum. Night 2 was originally supposed to be Richards vs. Steen vs. Elgin for the title. So the hope was Steen was going to get the win and maybe start a feud with Elgin. But that got scraped in favor of Edwards/Steen and Richards/Elgin.

I tried watching the 10th Anniversary Show last night (Young Dragons Rising, I think) and I didn't make it past the Steen/Kingston promo. It was just so dull. The lighting, the crowd, the commentary, the wrestling, everything was so washed out and vaguely wrestling shaped without being interesting. I ended up watching Regular Show reruns, Key & Peele, and Sons of Guns before falling asleep on the couch. Giving up caffeine has turned me into my father.

I'm one of the few guys (around these parts atleast) that still likes him but yeah that's pretty ridiculous.

Any mid-carder that was semi-famous during the late 90's seems like an icon to the current generation I guess.

The Bucks are credited with causing the injury to Rhett's knee, so it's a revenge thing.

They're promoting a show. I wouldn't expect them to sell an appearance by "The Modestly Successful" Lance Storm.

Then why not just bill him as "The Greatest Wrestler Who Ever Lived"? That should sell some tickets. Or would that be going too far?

He's a Canadian with a technical gimmick. That's enough to make him an icon in some circles.
