April 29, 201213 yr Author comment_5501014 Fun, 10-minute TV match sees the Ricky Morton get BUSTED WIDE OPEN in the post-match. Cornette gets in some shots on Morton, and it looks like this is the beginning of the slow build to the FINAL CONFLICT between Cornette and the Rock & Rolls.
May 8, 201213 yr comment_5502056 Del Ray had a terrific looking powerbomb on Blaze. Match felt short but we get pretty good beatdown after with Morton getting all bloodied.
May 24, 201213 yr comment_5503643 Solid 6-man tag followed up by a bloodied and battered Ricky Morton. Great segment overall.
May 27, 201213 yr comment_5504183 Good basis 6 man to set up the final climax of the bodies/Rock N Rolls. The razor edge bomb Del Ray gave was fantastic and Cornette was also really great with the tennis racket shots while the beatdown of Morton was going on.
May 31, 201213 yr comment_5504853 We get a nice little 6 man tag that leads to a strong angle with Morton getting busted open. Good stuff.
October 23, 201212 yr comment_5517743 Man, that Razor's Edge bomb looked dangerous as hell. No way I'd trust a guy doing that to me. That was one of the best post-match melees I remember. I like how Cornette's racket sounded whenever he'd whack someone trying to enter the ring.
November 17, 201212 yr comment_5520308 Del Ray channeling Dynamite Kansai was the best moment of this match. The thing I find a bit frustrating with SMW is that as much as the promos as great, you rarely get a match on TV that goes beyond the "pretty good TV match" level, even when the best workers are involved. Post-match beating is pretty sweet. Del Ray was one hell of a worker.
March 16, 201411 yr comment_5594570 Del Ray busting out the crucifix power bomb was a shock, definitely. Fun little bout that's a little on the short side, but a CHAOTIC post-match makes up for it. Morton is beaten to a bloody pulp as Cornette, from higher ground with the racket, picks off every babyface who tries to run in.
March 26, 20169 yr comment_5735566 Del Ray busts out a Splash Mountain on Blaze during this although the landing didn’t look the smoothest, whilst the faces get the win after a double dropkick to Kyle. Blaze is hurt on the outside and the Bodies and Kyle attack the Rock & Rolls after the match. Cornette splits Morton’s head open after a nasty looking racket shot and then gives him one to the throat for good measure too. Larry Santo, Pat Rose, Anthony Michaels (‘what’s he coming out for he got beat by a woman’ quips Dutch, as he got 'pinned' by Tammy Fytch earlier on in the show), The Hornet and Robbie Eagle all come to try and help but are kept at bay by Kyle and the racket swinging Cornette. Robert is trapped upside down and helpless in the corner whilst they continue to beat on Ricky who is a bloody mess at this point. Vegematic on to Morton then out comes Tracey Smothers and Tony Anthony for the save just as the show goes off air. I was wondering what this match was doing on the Yearbook as it was nothing special, but this was all about the post-match and beat down on the Rock & Rolls which was excellent. There hasn’t been any blood on TV for quite some time and seeing Ricky get busted wide open really added to the visual here.
