June 12, 201213 yr Author comment_5506388 Lance, in his charming way, compares this feud to Lawler/Dundee, and says some people probably think he is stretching when he says that, but he isn't. (He is.) Still, this is followed by a series of fun clips from the feud, which has been running for a few months now. This is capped off by a promo from Brian Christopher, which is quickly interrupted by Scott Bowden. I've finally figured out the best way to describe Scott Bowden. He reminds me of a data entry temp that think he's a permanent employee. Rich and Gilbert attack Brian and try to cut his hair, but Lawler makes a save, and wow, seeing them next to each other makes me wonder how people didn't figure out their family ties sooner.
June 15, 201213 yr comment_5506620 It is always tricky to make comparisons to previous things that were great. It can feel desperate at times. The clips shown are pretty good through. Whenever they tempt to cut Christopher's hair they make sure to only make a small trim.
June 28, 201213 yr comment_5508380 Lance tries to compare this feud to Lawler-Dundee. I give him props for attempting to put this feud over. The recap is really well done and gives great insight into the feud. Brian Christopher cuts a brief promo afterwards before Scott Bowden cuts him off and is quickly accompanied by Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich who try and cut some of Christopher's hair after a sneak attack. Lawler comes out and makes the save. This was a nice little build in the feud.
July 6, 201213 yr comment_5509364 Russell really tries to elevate the feud but the video of the clips they showed all spliced together do a good job of showing that a lot of cool shit did happen in this feud and it works better in highlight form without some of Gilbert's rambling. Christopher getting a haircut could not have been that much of an embarrassment given how short his hair is anyway.
June 4, 201411 yr comment_5605710 Some way cool highlights. I loved the payback spot of Christopher breaking a bottle over Bowden's head at the MSC, right after it happened to him on television. For whatever reason (no traumatic incidents in my past or anything) I always get VERY queasy when scissors get involved in action. Gilbert is pretty careful with them as Christopher is struggling.
February 13, 20169 yr comment_5726971 Lance is doing yeoman's work here trying to sell this feud. And it's a lot of fun, especially in highlight form. Lance took an (accidental?) bump when Christopher jumped on Doug's back. Did Lance or Dave ever take a bump or get physical during the golden age?
