I continue to spell Adnan's name in the most fucked up way possible because why not. Adnan attacks him pre-match while they are both wearing their cloaks and Adnan starts choking him with a weird belt thing that looks like an icy hot pack. Baron's expressive selling of Adnan back rakes is something to behold and Adnan bails to the floor where he almost gets into a fight with a 80 year old in the fourth row. Adnan's expressions and begging off after back rakes are not as amusing as Baron's, but he is true to Verne's amateur fetishism and hits a single leg, before stomping Baron's guts and locking on a double nervehold. God damn the mustaches both men bring in this are intense and the baron summons his for strength, but Adnan is back to the nerves. To be honest this is a nervehold that actually looks like it hurts and I can buy Baron as Walter Matthau like grumpy old man, falling victim to foreigners tricky pinch. Baron gets loose and Adnan goes the floor and is stalking around giving people the fucker finger while the crowd chants for the claw. Back int he ring and Baron actually hits some pretty good looking offense and Adnan takes a competent bump. Baron locks on the claw but Adnan escapes the floor. Adnan makes it in first and Adnan pulls something from his trunks and smashes the Baron with it in the head and claw hand as the ref rings the bell. Baron is goose steppign post match and signals for the claw but his claw hand has been crippled. This really only works if you think of it as a battle between two guys fighting over the last available table during early bird special time. Still this may be the match tomk is looking for.

Baron Von Raschke vs. Sheik Adnan Kaissey (1/22/88)

 

This is quite the spectacle as these guys had some wild mustaches going on and they were well past their prime so they were moving in slowish motion but the crowd was into this and it added to the match. The work may not have been worldbeating but these guys did what they did well and shit I'll pass it on as a low-end pick.
