June 5, 201213 yr comment_5505706 This was pretty great, for some reason the yutz doing the handheld, finally realizes how to use the zoom function, so it is a lot more watchable then the other matches. This is worked really BattlArts style, as there is less matwork and more kicking people in the face and dumping them on the top of their heads. Nagata especially breaks out some nasty suplexes, you get the sense from this match if he had just worked BattlArts he could have ended up a second rate Usuda rather then a eighth rate Masahiro Chono
June 17, 201213 yr comment_5506901 Camera view is from a bit far away but you can still hear the rings. They finally zoom in which is appreciated. Yuji busts out the knees. He seems to be the better striker and gets Ikeda down for almost a ten count. Ikeda is all fire when he gets back up but Nagata gets him in capture suplex on his head and then taps him out. Very acceptable finish. Good strike based effort between the two.
June 22, 201213 yr Author comment_5507583 I enjoyed this quite a bit, but I thought it could have used more time to build to something special. Ikeda is a machine and I'm always happy to see a match involving him pop up somewhere.
July 10, 201213 yr comment_5509843 This very, very good. Nagata kicking the shit out of Ikeda and Ikeda trying to keep up and ground Nagata was great. The close calls on the counts were well done and the finish was really good.

June 23, 201411 yr comment_5609092 One instance where you actually buy a half-crab as a shoot finish. Good brisk little undercard match, though the near-empty arena is pretty depressing.
