The league is going to be our first attempt at a roto auction league, $260 budget, and we will have keepers. Is everyone ok with an 8pm Eastern draft time on Monday? It shouldn't take us longer than one night since we don't have that many teams to deal with.

Honestly, this week Tuesday anytime after 10 would be perfect, but I realize that's not exactly a great time for everyone.

I recently found out I can't do Monday either, so here's my schedule:

 

Monday: nope.

Tuesday: nope.

Wednesday - Friday: 7:00 - 10:00 pm CST

Saturday & Sunday: Virtually anytime (except really late).

I usually have jack and shit to do on Wednesdays, so I'd support a move to 8PM EST then.

I have to work Wednesday and Thursday night, but anytime next weekend would be perfect (as of right now).

My league's draft is 7:30PM EST next Saturday, and most of us are in it, so I guess we could do it in the afternoon Saturday or sometime Sunday (if everyone can make it).

 

Of course, I could move MY draft, since it'll be easier for people since they can pre-rank in that one. Everyone showing up for this one is kind of important. There are still a bunch of open dates on Yahoo, so moving mine, say, to the 19th would work.

Spring break is around this time, so those in school are probably free (Harley is, by what he's saying) I'm home by 8 every night (from work/school, whatever). So have we figured out how the draft is going to go down? MiB said he was working on a program, so how's that coming along? A chat would be just as good, but we might as well get some of the details ironed out now.

Draft is going to be a regular auction, in an AIM chat - no bells or whistles yet. Al hasn't mentioned who's going to be an auctioneer, so I'm guessing one of us will work as one.

 

As far as I go, the program I'm working on is for the hybrid "Top Dollar" draft we'll have at the All-Star Break. Al and I will tweak out the rules and get that going as the season's going further, so we'll keep you posted.

How about we just set an order and take turns "nominating" players? Each round of bidding starts at $1 and we go from there. Like I start and nominate Beltran, then we bid until someone wins, and the next person nominates a player, and so on. Though one guy playing auctioneer would work too.

That would be a way to do it as well.
