Rice is a guy you just want to see throw a dropkick, but he did okay getting his ass kicked and Richards was decent enough kicking his ass. Badd Company v. Ricky Ataki/Jim Evans This might be Naylor's all time dream match with Ataki and Tanaka. Really fun squash as Badd Company kick the piss out of them Rocky Mountain Thunder v. Bill Anderson Quick squash Promo package on Baron feud with Khan Badd Company promo Verne Gagne v. Jerry Blackwell JIP. Cool to see but not enough here Rock N Roll Express v. Tom Stone/Samoan Joe This fucking ruled for a squash. For some reason the RnR's looked super motivated and worked really hard. Lots of cool spots including Ricky hitting a crazy looking missle dropkick off the top which was really awesome. Midnight Rockers promo Baron Von Raschke/Ray Stevens v. Tejo Khan/Solidat Ustinov Stevens kind of looks like what I imagine old man Dynamite Kid would have looked like if he hadn't lost his legs. Loved the Baron doing the Boogie Woogie dance in the face of Tejo after cornering him. Marshall and Trongard suck, but they do manage to put over the importance of Ustinov and Baron facing off when they are in together. Not sure I like the idea of Baron as the FIP here, but he works it well and I liked Khan's fist drop. Man that last hot tag tease in this was really fucking great and way above the level of what you would expect from the team of Khan and Solidat. Stevens is a good house of fire and he gets a Boston Crab on Khan but Solidat runs in with the Soviet flag and cheapshots behind the refs back for the fall. This was nowhere near a great match, but I could see this as a nominal low end match on the set. Mando Guerrero v. The Samoan Kid Man Mando's early flashy offense was on point and really looked awesome here. Mando wins with a sprinboard crossbody. Short and fun Badd Company promo Midnight Rockers v. Mike Richards/Bill Anderson Fun comp to the RnR's squash as the Rockers get in some really cool stuff too and are just as over. Michaels super kick was better then than it would be later.
