Posted May 5, 201213 yr comment_5501829 Extremely fun studio match, though I worry about the date. I think one of the points of these projects is to catch all the elements of the territory from the era. This really does that well. Bravo is an unlikely, young, babyface type, but he really is fun as the clean cut kid doing dropkicks and rope running/monkey flip spots. SD2 takes a bunch of big bumps. I also liked him on offense as he worked simple, but really sharp looking spots, including a cool running slam in the corner with the ref narrowly avoiding getting crushed. Bravo wins clean with an airplane spin and there is a huge post-match controversy about whether or not SD has to unmask, with Lord Hayes claiming it's not fair since Bock didn't drop the title win he lost on tv the previous week. SD ambushes Bravo and Karbo gets crushed. Bravo ends up snatching the match and cuts a post-match promo with it. If this is within the right time frame it should probably make the set. This is actually from late Oct. of 79 so I'm closing the thread.
