Col. Debeers accuses Hall of anabolic steroid abuse. The Blaster v. Mike Richards Fuck The Blaster is so fucking funny to look at and Gagne on commentary makes this even better. I almost want this to be an EXTRA Sit down interview with Jimmy Snuka who is in a neck brace. Seriously they go from a Blaster match to a sitdown interview with Snuka. Unbelievable. Maybe an EXTRA Ken Timbs v. Jake Milliman Holy shit this was fucking awesome. The crowd was crazy into Milliman and Gagne did a good job on commentary putting him over as a guy who always gives a hundred percent which really fit the theme of the match. Really loved Jake's wild powerslam in the early going and his taunting of Timbs. Timbs offense is simple and Southern, but I don't see that as a negative. Milliman in peril for a while and they tease a big comeback. He hits a nice back elbow and goes up top but gets caught and takes a fucking horrifying bump off a slam off the top. Timbs puts him away with a Skull Crushing Finale of all things. Too short to be a lock, but if any random tv matches make the cut, this would be one to consider. Timbs promo Ali Khan wins a squash that went on too long Larry Z promo ringside complaining about why he couldn't get a match with Bock. Col. Debeers v. Curt Hennig This was a match I was really looking forward to out of this batch and it basically delivered though the finish was total bullshit. Up until that point we got a fun match with stiff shots from both guys, typically big time Debeers bumps and a nice pace. This was actually on it's way to being a solid nomination, but man that fucking non-finish just killed the match dead and was stupid as fuck. Really annoying because you know these guys could have a great match if given the chance. Rick Gantner v. Johnny Rich Novelty match really and it wasn't particularly good.
