Posted May 7, 201213 yr comment_5502045 I passed on this before but I don't think we have any other Crusher matches on the set and he seems like a guy who we should at least consider even if this was years past his prime. This was probably a better brawl than I originally gave it credit for as Blackwell is pretty great at making Crusher's stuff look brutal and the spots with the bench on the floor were petty insane. Post-match brawling in the crowd and down into the back of the building almost makes up for the stupid as fuck finish. I wouldn't use a personal pick on this, but I can see the argument for including at least one Crusher match.

Crusher throws some awesome punches here and Blackwell is awesome taking punishment as Crusher bashes him with a chair numerous times with the fans going apeshit. Crusher moved in slow motion but his offense looked hard hitting especially with someone like Blackwell selling for you. Blackwell used some nasty headbutts here before he started using the chair on Crusher and this was some awesome brawling. This is a total no frills slugfest with a whole lotta clubberin going on and Adnan gets his shots in as well since it's no rules so Blackwell is able to pin Crusher in the ropes which was quite the finish. The brawling continued afterwards and was wild as hell. I dug this a lot and I think it's a nomination.
