This is basically the WWC 1988 Awards show which is a hoot. A lot of extra material here.

The next show starts with clips of Wendi Richter vs. Monster Ripper.

Huracan Castillo Jr. & Miguel Perez Jr. vs. The Crusher (Rip Morgan) & El Profe (10/17/87)

Profe wrestling is always interesting since he was the rudo manager. Huracan & Miguel are fiery here taking it to the heels and the fans are hot for the action. God I can see why Profe is a manager because he really sucks as there was a spot where Huracan hit a cross body block on the heels with Crusher going down but Profe staying on his feet. This match is also clipped but I don't mind again in this case. Next we get a great video of the Invader/Starr's feud and this is fucking awesome. Blood flowing like water here and I wish we had these fucking matches in full. Extra material.

Then we get a workout video of TNT kickboxing and this is great. Extra material.

No Time Limit: Hercules Ayala vs. TNT (5/21/88)

Fans are very hot for TNT here and it's amazing to watch WWC house shows compared to their regular TV matches. WWC needed a special TV show showing house show matches. They had Saturday/Sunday TV but didn't take advantage of it. Just as the match is getting fun we get the dreaded clip job and my enthusiasm gets clipped as well. This was fun though.

The next show starts with a face to face promo with Carlos Colon & Danny Spivey which is interesting.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. The Kansas Jayhawks ("Hangman" Bobby Jaggers & Dan Kroffat) (3/5/88)

Maybe this won't be clipped. Jaggers is really fun here taking the punishment from RnR bumping and stooging around. Kroffat comes in and it's more of the same and this is starting out strong as the fans are very hot for the RnR. Morton & Kroffat worked really well together but here comes the clip.....although it looks like we don't miss much as Morton is still in control although he eats a big clothesline from Jaggers. Morton would get tossed to the floor where he ate piledriver by Jaggers then got posted by Kroffat. Morton is getting his ass kicked here and is juicing heavily. Kroffat hits a diving clothesline while Jaggers holds Morton for a nearfall and then hits a GIANT SWING!!! to set up a Boston Crab. Nice teamwork by the heels here to keep Morton on the mat before both men went down on a double clothesline. Gibson would get the hot tag and he ran wild on the heels before Morton would join in for the 4-way brawl. Morton would hit a big dropkick on Kroffat but Jaggers would attack him although after Kroffat was sent flying to the floor Jaggers would eat a double dropkick to get beat. This was almost complete and a damn good match so this moves forward easily.

Next we get a video of the Colon/Spivey feud.

"Dangerous" Danny Spivey vs. Mark Youngblood (June 1988)

This was okay nothing special both guys worked hard even Spivey well for him at least.

Anything Invaders/Starrs is good for consideration.

The Colon/Spivey stuff sounds interesting.

TNT had quite the interesting video packages. There was one where he was training and jumped over a moving car. It was called Aventura Ninja (Ninja Adventure).

It has a sequel too:

They also had one of him teaching kids tae kwan do.

This last video falls out of the time frame, it's from 1990 and is build up for Aniversario 90. I'll include the link to complete the set.

Man you have to love the WWC Awards, especially Ayala beating up Colon's wife. Seriously PR angles were fucking insane by the standards of everywhere else on earth. I love it.

Wendi Richter v. Monster Ripper JIP. This was not bad. Ripper is a decent worker and Richter is passable, but what was shown felt rushed.

Huracan Castillo Jr. & Miguel Perez Jr. vs. The Crusher (Rip Morgan) & El Profe I actually thought this was solid, but uneventful. Perez did hit a really nice looking sunset flip at one point and the match was well structured, but the heel team seemed like it was on a completely different page at times. Clips of several of the hot feuds are shown including the Jayhawks beating the Renegade Warriors.

Clips of Hugo in a hilarious get up with TNT who is wearing sparring gloves. This leads to a marital arts demonstration which could be a possible EXTRA

Hercules Ayala vs. TNT The clip here is mildly annoying because there was some good action on the front and back of it, but there was also a lot of dead parts and I don't think this was going to be making the set one way or the other. Some cool spots from TNT though.

Sit down interview with Spivey and Colon from an empty building.

Rock N Roll Express v. Kansas Jayhawks Man was this great. I wouldn't even want to do a full play by play for this in fear I'd miss something. In some ways I think the non-Colon star of this footage has been Kroffat. He is just a great, great athlete and an extremely exciting worker. It's made even better by the fact that he is a very good stooge and he knows how to make his athleticism a tool in the act of playing the fool. I loved the spot with him landing on his feet on a back body drop and turning right into a Morton dropkick. The face shine here was really good and this was probably the best I've seen Jaggers look in this setting as he worked hard bumping and was a commanding presence on offense. Loved the drop down/clothesline combo to take over and the posting/piledriver on the floor combo on Morton was excellent. Kroffat busting out the giant swing/Boston Crab combo had me marking out and the build to the hot tag was slow, sweet and textbook RnR. I guess you could argue that the match would have benefited from a false finish, but that's a real nitpick. This was awesome.

Spivey/Colon clips included Spivey beating Colon with what looked like a chain while holding off everyone trying to make the save.

Dan Spivey v. Mark Youngblood Man the spot with Spivey just throwing himself back onto Youngblood when he went for an O'Conner roll was fucking awesome. For my entire life I have wondered why bigger guys didn't do that to little dudes and of all the people to finally do it, it was 1988 Dan Spivey. Youngblood followed that in short order with a nice cross body and I liked the idea of him working Spivey's arm. You could argue that the armwork wasn't cutting edge, but it was a way to make him look like he had a fighting chance if nothing else. Spivey was probably giving him too much of this, but I did like that Youngblood abandoned fundamentals to go for bigger offense and then paid for it and got spiked on his head. I actually think this is a borderline nomination of a match, but I don't think it would make a cut.
