Freebirds squash and ringside promo Buck and Steve O get a squash tag win. Strange. Sgt. Slaughter v. Larry Zbyszko Larry's cheapshot punch was pretty great and Sarge took a typically crazed bump over the top and into the first row. Sarge gets back in and starts to run off some offense and then the ref gets bumped and I know I've seen the finish of this and the post-match High Flyers squash Bobby Duncum wins a squash. This is a different tv show and odd to see Duncum there that late. Finish of Meadowlands Battle Royal The Freebirds v. Steve O/Kenny Jay/Buck Zumhoffe Steve O bumping the Birds all over early was kind of neat. This stops pretty quickly and the heels take control on Buck. STeve O comes in and starts to make a run but gets cut off and tossed to the floor. Steve gets a good near fall on Buddy, then Kenn Jay comes in and all hell breaks loose. Birds do a back body drop into powerbomb finish. Fun. Martel promo Buddy Roberts wins a squash Larry Z beats a really muscular dude in a squash Nick Bockwinkel/Bobby Duncum/Ray Stevens v. Curt Hennig/Steve O/Buck Zumhoffe JIP, but I don't think we are really missing anything as it starts with a pre-match brawl mid ring with the faces clearing house. The Bock/Hennig exchange is really spirited and good stuff. The subsequent sections of this were fine, but man Bock sticks out as the best guy in this by far as every time he is in the ring the match is WAY better. This goes to a really short time limit draw Brunzell squash Stevens squash Baron Von Raschke/Buck Zumhoffe/Brad Rheingans v. Steve Regal/Bobby Duncum/Bily Robinson JIP. Say what you want about Zumhoffe but the guy has a really nice dropkick. I also gotta give Regal credit. He sucks, but his offense looked good here. Kind of a weird match as there were multiple abbreviated FIP segments, but noting super lengthy. Overall this was fun, but we were missing enough where I can't see it on the set.
