TNT vs. Tama (3/11/89) Decent action but unspectacular with TNT winning with a superkick.

Huracan Castillo Jr. & Ricky Santana vs. El Exotico & Dan Kroffat (March 1989) Kroffat is teamed with a jobber here and he has issues with him of course giving a comedy element here which was very rare in WWC. Exotico is treated like a total jobber here but is fun for his role although he looks like a member of Menudo while Kroffat was on here bumping hard for the faces and looking good on offense. Santana works FIP here and now Exotico actually gets a little offense in but Kroffat works the meat of the section. I liked Santana grabbing Kroffat's leg as he tried a spin kick then turning it into a kneebreaker as the spot to get the hot tag. Castillo comes in and runs wild starting the 4-way brawl ending with Castillo coming off the top with a cross body block on Kroffat to win. This was very fun and I'm throwing it up as a low-end pick.

Caribbean Tag Titles: The Ninja Express (Mr. Pogo & Kensuke Sasaki) © vs. The Renegade Warriors (Chris & Mark Youngblood) (3/4/89) I thought the Japanese doing their sumo schtick to start the match leading to them throwing salt was fun. That was some Mr. Fuji/Mr. Saito shit. The match is clipped up but this wasn't really anything special.

The next stuff is from the early 90's featuring COWBOY SCOTT HALL and MASCARITA SAGRADA ORIGINAL.

TNT vs. Tama

This was way worse than it looked on paper. TNT really strikes me as a guy who had no problem phoning it in on the smaller shows and this was definitely not a well attended show. Not good.

Already seconded the nomination of the Huracan Castillo Jr. & Ricky Santana vs. El Exotico & Dan Kroffat match.

The Ninja Express (Mr. Pogo & Kensuke Sasaki) © vs. The Renegade Warriors

The pre-match ceremonial bullshit with Pogo and Sasaki was one of the more amusing things I've seen in wrestling recently, made even more ridiculous because it built to them teasing throwing salt in the eyes of the Younbloods. Yes, a salt toss tease. Unbelievable. Kind of a strange match in that it started sort of slow and the crowd got super into the FIP and went completely batshit for the Warriors big comeback. It's kind of strange because a lot of the Youngbloods offense is lacking and there are some really sloppy moments in this, but the pace and excitement of this were really strong. They did a couple of good near falls and teases down the stretch and then the match ended up getting tossed out. Borderline in my opinion, but I will go no nomination.
