Barbed wire and masks are an interesting combination so you have to use the wire on other parts of the body besides the head and the Pastores do a good job of putting the Invaders backs and other body parts in the wire. Pastores rip the masks and the blood starts coming out as the fans start pelting the ring with trash. Invaders would eventually fight back and the Pastores faces soon met the wire and their blood started flowing like water. Invaders were great brawlers here and this is again exactly what you wanted in a match like this. This is a definite nomination. Carlos Colon vs. Abdullah the Butcher (9/21/85) This was clipped on TV so this is in full which is great. Colon coming out to We Are The World is AWESOME. JJ Dillon has come down to PR with Abby which was cool. There was no special stipulation here but in a match between these two you want a fucking war and that's what we got as Colon just took it all to Abby who was bumping and selling hard for Colon but also dished out the pain as well. We get the blood we want and it flows here like water. Dillon tries to get involved and he hits Abby by mistake so Colon takes care of him and forces Dillon to juice but the battle would go all over the stadium for a double countout. Great brawling here and this is what you want from WWC. Easy nomination. "Ugandan Giant" Kamala vs. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Vailant (9/21/85) Valiant has a birthday cake so of course that gets used and is the highlight of the match. Next we get the Roadies/Fabs match I've already seen. Then we get the Flair/Ayala match I've already seen. Dory Funk Jr. vs. Sweet Brown Sugar (9/21/85) Okay match but nothing special. The brawling afterwards with Super Medico & Jesse Barr going in was better than the match.

The Herders bled everywhere. I'm pretty sure Butch got a huge cut on his arm too. This was a good match that was helped by the awesome pomp and circumstance in the entrances and the fucking great post-match with Butch Miller looking like a war victim who can't figure out where he is. This has the basic formula of the heels taking over first. The Herders bloody the Invaders with the wire and they bleed through their mask. The Invaders make a comeback and the Herders bounce into the wire in a bunch of different ways and bleed buckets. I liked the top rope stuff and the sneaky cross body was a great near fall. The Invaders won on a roll up. This was a blood bath with some nasty visuals. SOLID nomination. Carlos Colon vs. Abdullah the Butcher (9/21/85) - I fucking loved this. They start brawling right away. Both guys throw punches, jabs, headbutts, and shit. Colon gives Abby a super punch and Abby does this great slow crash to the mat. He goes outside to conference with JJ Dillon then comes back in for more brawling. All of a sudden Colon fucking monkey flips Abby and it was totally awesome. Colon starts biting Abby's scars and punching them. Abby starts to bleed. Then Abby takes control and bloodies Colon with awesome headbutts. Abby stands on top of a bloodied Colon and it's fucking awesome. He drops the big elbow and gets a near fall. They brawl in the corner with more great headbutts and punches and Colon comes back. He rips Abby's eyes up and gives him variants of low blows. Then, he fucking suplexes Abby and hits a second rope leg drop for a near fall. Eventually, Colon suplexes Abby again and hits this weird but awesome top rope body press and the ref gets knocked down. JJ gets involved and Colon bloodies his ass with a headbutt. Colon and Abby start brawling in the insane crowd and wrestlers come out and try to break it up. Colon headbutts one and it's fucking wild as hell. The fans on the floor are going nuts. I guess this ends in a double count-out but this was fucking awesome. EASY nomination. "Ugandan Giant" Kamala vs. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Vailant (9/21/85) - I skipped through most of this. Jimmy Valiant had a cake and it was kind of amusing. Other than that, this was indeed as bad as it looks. Road Warriors vs. Fabulous Ones (9/21/85) - This was a nothing match that randomly turned into a wild brawl between the Fabs and the Herders. The Roadies won by count-out. The best part about the match was Hugo correcting the other commentator on who was in the ring. Ric Flair vs. Hercules Ayala (9/21/85) - This was long. Ayala in a long match with anyone is never good. Flair was Flair in this which is good but Ayala didn't bring anything to this at all. I did like his strikes to Flair's chest in the corner in the closing stretch. Flair bled, threw great chops, bumped, stooged, and heeled it up. Ayala sucked and the middle portion of the match was dreadfully boring. Flair reversed a suplex in the ring into a body press to win. The best part of this was pre-match with Flair threatening to sleep with the Puerto Rican women which he probably did. Dory Funk Jr. vs. Sweet Brown Sugar (9/21/85) - I skipped through this after the long holds started. Sugar's dropkick at the start was good. The brawl afterwards looked to be better than the match.
