Posted June 6, 201213 yr comment_5505801 Tons of French language promos to kick this off. Ray Rougeau/Billy Robinson v. Sailor White/Rick Valentine JIP. Man I really dig Sailor White as a fat guy who will take his bumps. This is clipped up, but what is shown is pretty interesting. Valentine takes some nice bumps in this too. Really awesome fisticuffs spot with Ray and Sailor just punching the fuck out of each other, but Ray gets cut down and Valentine ends up missing a huge leg drop attempt leaping to the hot tag to Billy. Faces get a string of nice near falls, the last of which was a sick Billy Roibinson backbreaker. Robinson hits a neckbreaker and the heel manager runs in and the match gets tossed. Even with the shit finish this was really enjoyable, but sadly too clipped up to nominate. Maybe an EXTRA Brief clip of Jos Leduc cleaning house on Tonga/Superstar. Clips of a Piper WWF match with French commentary? This is followed up by a WWF themed music video. Bizarre. Jacques/Ray Rougeau v. Sailor White/Richard Charland This is heavily clipped which is too bad because on paper this looks like a really good match. The clips are solid and feature some big theatric bumps from the heels and the skeleton of what looks like a good Jacques FIP segment. Really seems like something that would be awesome in full, but this isn't even close to complete. Jos Leduc/Dino Bravo v. King Tonga/Masked Superstar Pretty wild to see Tonga bumping around and playing the coward so well in the early portions of this. Dino lights up Superstar and he begs off on his knees into the corner. The fact shine is still going on with the heels selling their asses off, but this is clipped up some during the face shine. They go to Superstars leg but that allows a Tonga cheap shot with a chop on Bravo. He comes in and hits a nice standing dropkick and side suplex. Heels cut off the ring on Bravo and get in some good licks though there is some more clipping in here. Tongo misses a flip splash and Leduc tags in and lights up Tongo who is really fun selling. This is really starting to get hot and even with the clipping it feels like enough for a nomination......and then there is a cut to a music video and no finish. God fucking damnit. Road Warriors music video Clips of an angle with Tonga ambushing Bravo during a match with Superstar Bunch of interviews King Tonga/Abdullah The Butcher v. Dino Bravo/Billy Robinson This is really just a short clip Ray/Jacques/Jacques Sr Rougeau v. Sailor White/Richard Charland/Tarzan Tyler Another one that is really too clipped up, but this is a lot of fun as it starts out with hot brawling, we get a clip of White yelling at fans on the floor, old man Jacques doing a double stomp, a fun criss cross spot, the heels isolating baby Jacques in the corner and working over his MOUTH, and a clean finish. If this had shown just a minute or two more of the Jacques junior FIP run I would go ahead and pass this on, but as it stands it felt to incomplete. King Tonga v. Dino Bravo JIP. Basically just the finishing run. Crowd is molten for this. Mad Dog Lefebvre/Frenchy Martin v. Sailor White/Rick Valentine Pre-match promo with White and Valentine is super entertaining. The Frenchman come to the ring and it is awesome as they are usually heels but get a huge reaction as they just beat the fuck out of the hated White/Valentine as soon as they hit the ring, including a shot for their manager (Tarzan Tyler). This continues as they isolate White and work him over with White taking some nice bumps and some fun offense from the Frenchmen, including a double stomp, Mad Dog biting the ear of Sailor White, a nice Frenchy Martin elbow drop, et. What looks like a really brief clip here as they are still working on White and Valentine gets bumped to the floor. Mad Dog adjusts his knee pad does this weird stutter step knee to the face of White which busts him open. Man this is starting to get pretty awesome, especially for a heel in peril match, but then the heels just walk out and take the count out. Fucking stupid as fuck finish, but it still had a pretty special feel to it so I'll give it a low end nod. A bunch more all French promos and studio clips round out the disc.
