Posted June 8, 201213 yr comment_5505911 Bravo and Road Warrior Hawk have a very intense pre-match stare down. Hawk shoves Bravo around early, but Dino responds by dropkicking the posing Hawk in the back knocking him to the floor. Fucking crazy to see Animal do the "hold onto the arm" counter to an arm drag. It's weird watching the Roadies work over the arm. On the one hand you admire the effort, on the other you expect them to be massacring people. Leduc tags in and they do a spot with Hawk going to a head lock, but Leduc picks him up and just heaves him off. Hawk with a big slam on Leduc who gets right up but sells the back as they are sort of booking this as a "Hoss v. Hoss" match. Animal with a charge at the ropes but Leduc hits him with this weird dropkick type move and then hits another with Animal taking a leaping/twisting bump that was really unexpected. Dino comes in and works over Animal and at this point I start to get really surprised by the amount of the match the Roadies have sent bumping. Just as I say this the Roadies take over on Bravo. Roadies are so strange as they have really cool big spots, but have to bridge everything with rest holds that really hurt the flow of things. Hawk ends up missing a second rope splash which enables Leduc to get the hot tag. Ridiculous spot with Animal blocking a backbreaker attempt leading to Leduc tumbling to the floor, then Bravo decking Animal with him flying over the ropes to the floor. Bravo gets tied up beating on Ellering and the Roadies piledrive Leduc on the floor which he blades for. Ringside fans are up close gawking as Leduc as the ref counts the faces out. This was far from great, but the theatrical bumps of the Roadies, the give and take, and the brutal finish put this safely in the camp of something I could see making a set.
