Of course Bruno is going to rip them off and stuff them down his throat. Another energetic Piper brawl with him spraying blood all over the ring and putting over Bruno huge. This felt more violent then even the other Piper matches, as it had a grimey 70's feel. Finish with Bruno grabbing a chair and smashing Piper off of his leg so he could crawl out was great stuff. Man I wouldn't mind a set of 148 Piper matches and two Valentine v. Garvin brawls
July 6, 201213 yr comment_5509320 Yep I really liked this too. Sure Piper is the least subtle blader on Earth early on, but who gives a fuck? Lots of cool shit in this, including the poster stuff, Piper's ball shot come back and his staggered selling with shirt dangling off, the aforementioned awesome finish, et. I thought this had a really good and natural flow to it to as this match doesn't have a ton of "stuff" but everything you get is really nasty, meaningful or important.

Piper's cheap heat is tremendous as he tapes The Refrigerator Perry and Jim McMahon posters on two sides of the cage in the Boston Garden. Bruno comes in and destroys him pretty quickly. Piper does the most blatant blade job I've ever seen but I don't care this shit was great. Piper is gushing his life support all over the place as Bruno pounds away at his skull, rips his shirt and chokes him with it, and shoves one poster down his throat and the other down his tights. Piper gets his heat segment with two low blows and some great gyrations. From then on the two punch the hell out of each other as they try desperately to escape the mayhem. The finish rules as Bruno low blows Piper then uses a chair by the cage door on the floor to make sure he gets out for real. I liked this a whole lot. May 22May 22 comment_6030238 EASY NOMINATION. Less than a minute in and Piper is already bleeding buckets. Bruno knows how to punish a guy in the cage. I don’t mind escape the cage rules nearly as much as other people and thought they had some great teases. Piper was awesome. Bruno gave Piper the greatest nut shot of all time. Bruno wacking Piper with the chair to escape was great.
