Posted July 6, 201213 yr comment_5509343 Gene Okerlund hosts this bad boy. 1. We get a Dynamic Duo interview. Good stuff here. 2. Dynamic Duo vs. Ken Lucas & Ricky Morton This is joined in the 3rd fall and what is shown is fun. 3. The Dynamic Duo vs. Terry Funk/Ivan Putski Again this is fun stuff. Terry looked real good in the FIP section. We get about 5 minutes of a match. The angle with Morton afterwards was done well and a possible extra. 4. Sherri Martel vs. Judy Martin. Again some solid work here. 5. Lawler/Kaufman from Memphis 6. Lawler vs. Sweetan This was pretty great and a solid nomination. This had a real Lawler/DWB vibe from SMW. Sweetan has a lot of similarities to DWB. Lawler was great working Memphis heel schtick here. His selling and escapes from the piledriver was gold. His selling of the piledriver was tremendous. Lawler pretending he was doing open palm blows, but was really thumbing Sweetan in the eye was gold. The finish worked here to set up rematches. 7. Sweetan interview. 8. Sweetan vs. Santo Negro was to set up a good angle with Stomper, and then Dick Slater. This is a potential extra. 9. Stomper vs Dick Slater with Sweetan as special referee in a cage. This was just ok. I thought the finish is a potential extra though. 10. Bockwinkle promo was tremendous. 11. Bockwinkle vs. Manny Fernandez This was a strong studio bout that is a low end nomination. They work a good pace, and everything looked like they were working tight with one another. Bull's blade job was awesome and added a lot to the bout. A good finish to set up a bout in an arena. 12. Bockwinkle vs. Brody I was shocked by how much Brody sold here. This was also JIP. I dug Bock's working of the neck with the leg scissors around the neck, and how Bock kept hitting the neck with punches and forearms. Brody's comeback really didn't do much for me, but did like his chase of Heenan.
