Posted July 7, 201213 yr comment_5509454 NWA Middleweight Title: Lizmark © vs. Enfermero Jr. (August 1983) The 1st fall has some good action with both men feeling the other out before Lizmark breaks out some nice backbreakers followed up by a modified surfboard into an Gory Especial making Enfermero submit. Lizmark looked really good here in his fall. Lizmark starts the next fall working over the bad back again but Enfermero fights back with some basic offense before breaking out a nice stretch hold to get the 2nd fall. The 3rd fall starts out very strong with Lizmark taking a nice bump to the floor with Enfermero hitting a big plancha to the floor. Lizmark would hit a sweet tope suicida as an answer before crashing and burning trying another one hitting all wood. Enfermero would go for the kill with a Boston Crab but Lizmark is pesky coming back with a sweet little powerbomb then another powerbomb with a floatover for a nearfall before finishing him off with a suplex. This was a good match with Lizmark really looking strong here and it feels like a low-end nomination.
September 25, 201213 yr comment_5515727 This wasn't perfect. I thought Enfermero blew off the damage to the back a little too quickly and easily, and Lizmark's tope to nowhere didn't even seem to be aimed at Enfermero in the first place. Still, problems like that were few and far between. This had some nice matwork to start, but it got aggressive in a hurry, and both guys looked good laying a hurting on the other. Interestingly, even though it was a more rough and tumble lucha title match than usual, it never felt unsportsmanlike, which was a neat approach to take. Solid nomination.
August 12, 201312 yr comment_5555901 Phil and I had divergent opinions on this match. I thought the 1st fall was good with a sweet finish. The 2nd fall had nothing going for it. The 3rd fall was good with Lizmark going splat and a nasty powerbomb that hsould have ended the match. Butterfly suplex ends it which was whatever. Low end nomination at best and Phil will have to hope their are enough personal picks to move this on.
August 12, 201312 yr comment_5555902 Really neat first fall with some sweet backbreakers and a cool Gory Special variation which I have never seen before. Second fall was a bit more basic, but the third fall kicked it into gear with Enfermo doing a cool fat man plancha, and Lizmark wiping out on a tope. The double power bomb into a butterfly suplex was a really high impact finish for a lucha match. Would have liked to see more from Enfermo, but this was a cool long Lizmark singles match and should definitely make the set
