Heavyweight Title: Sangre Chicana © vs. Ringo Mendoza (10/28/83) Really fun matwork to start with Ringo taking a wristlock from the ring to the floor back to the ring back to the floor. Both guys are feeling each other out and it has that indy standoff thing going on which was cool. Ringo takes the advantage hitting a nice plancha to the floor before submitting Chicana to take the 1st fall. Ringo continues his domination here really rocking Chicana with some fun knee smashes before missing a plancha off the ropes giving Chicana an opportunity and he goes for a Stretch Muffler which looks like it hurts like shit to tap out Ringo. The 3rd fall kicks into another gear with Chicana going for a Gory Especial setting the table as both guys go for various submissions and this is really awesome shit as Chicana makes Ringo submit after they go to a double pinfall but Chicana gets his shoulder up for the win. The postmatch was great as Chicana & Cota are picking up all the money in the ring that the fans throw in there. Very strong technical match and I think this moves forward easily. Next we get Los Fantasticos vs. Enfermero Jr./Jerry Estrada/Talisman (10/28/83) that is JIP. NWA Middleweight Title: Lizmark © vs. Enfermero Jr. (August 1983) The 1st fall has some good action with both men feeling the other out before Lizmark breaks out some nice backbreakers followed up by a modified surfboard into an Gory Especial making Enfermero submit. Lizmark looked really good here in his fall. Lizmark starts the next fall working over the bad back again but Enfermero fights back with some basic offense before breaking out a nice stretch hold to get the 2nd fall. The 3rd fall starts out very strong with Lizmark taking a nice bump to the floor with Enfermero hitting a big plancha to the floor. Lizmark would hit a sweet tope suicida as an answer before crashing and burning trying another one hitting all wood. Enfermero would go for the kill with a Boston Crab but Lizmark is pesky coming back with a sweet little powerbomb then another powerbomb with a floatover for a nearfall before finishing him off with a suplex. This was a good match with Lizmark really looking strong here and it feels like a low-end nomination. Halcon Ortiz/Mascara Ano Dos Mil/Kevin Von Erich vs. Coloso Colosetti/Herodes/Pirata Morgan (9/23/83) This is from the 1983 Anniversario show with a rare KVE appearance. They made a big deal about Kevin working barefoot on commentary here which was interesting. Herodes kinda favors Skandor Akbar so Kevin should be used to working against this body type. MA2K was really fun here as the spry babyface working as like the Mascara Dorada of his era. Pirata was great also bumping around for the tecnicos with Herodes being a fun big man and Coloso being the glue of the match as he mainly worked against Kevin since Coloso worked the US and knew English well. All in all a very fun match that should go forward fairly easily.
