Adonis is one of those guys who is always going to give a lot and here he gives Lanny a ton. This leads to some fun stuff for the era as they do some nice rope running spots, Adonis does some quick/big bumps and they even let Lanny get in a moonsault for a near fall. I really liked that exchange and how it bridged into the missed flip splash. Adrian takes over with vicious shots as he sniffs a flower, but Lanny ends up coming back on offense fairly quickly. Adrian finally has enough and crushes him with the bulldog for a finish. Worth a look if nothing else.
July 8, 201213 yr comment_5509659 I would have no problem putting this on a set, and there were probably 30 matches worse then this on the last set, but I am ramping up my quality expectations. Poffo has some fun spots, and Adonis bumps well, but Poffo's works light as a feather and I never thought this was really competitive. Actually similar structure to the Andre v. Slaughter match I nominated, but not as good. I am going to go NO.
