This was a 2/3 falls match that aired on Primetime Wrestling on 5/30/88. The start of the match is different than the others as Haku (I think) and Martel trade some nice punches. The Islanders bump well as always for Martel and the crowd at MSG is pretty fired up. Martel does a quick FIP segment and gets the hot tag to Tito. Tito locks in the figure four but gets a headbutt and is now FIP. He gets his leg worked on and sells it magnificently for the rest of the match. The Islanders win the first fall after a double headbutt on Tito. During the rest period the Islanders get in some cheap shots on a hurt Tito. The second fall is quick as The Islanders continue to work on Tito's leg. Tama gets a small package on Tito but Martel reverses the small package for Tito who gets the pin and ties it up at one fall apiece. Tito is worked on for most of the third fall but gets the hot tag to Martel. This was a great hot tag as Haku and Tama bump like maniacs for his offense. Martel wins it with a roll up variation in the end. Tito was really great in this selling the leg and the falls were timed similar to lucha style which was neat.

Strike Force vs The Islanders (2/3 Falls) (MSG 10/16/87; aired 5/30/88)
-    1st fall: Strike Force with a SICK double clothesline. Martel still saving his nastiest stuff for Haku. I know I have seen it before but Santana hits his #1 and the best Thesz press. Haku is tired of being taken advantage of and drops Martel on his head with a Saito suplex. Martel ends up in peril when Tito tags in he punches Tama in between the eyes for a big back bump. Figure 4 broken up by Haku. Martel is right there to stiff Haku lol. Haku headbutt sends Santana outside. Tito likes giving a figure 4? Lets repeatedly ram his legs against the ring post to take that out. Islanders working the legs inside. Awesome. The crowd rallies Tito. Damn, as all 4 men get in the ring and the ref sends Martel back to the corner, Haku throat thrusts Tito and then they do a double headbutt for the pin. The first fall alone would be a solid nomination as a sprint. Excellent stuff.
-    2nd fall: Tito continues to be abused. Tito grabs a small package. As Haku and Martel get in the ring, Martel rolls Tito on top when the ref doesn’t see and it’s a quick 2nd fall. It’s a minor complaint but I don’t like the ref being distracted 2 falls in a row.
-    3rd fall: Martel protects Tito in his corner until the bell rings. Islanders go back on the attack. Poor Tito. Islanders switching out without tagging working on the leg. Haku elbow drop misses and Tito trying to make the tag. Nope. Stopped. Double headbutt misses. IT won’t finish the 3rd fall. Great hot tag! The greatest dropkick from Martel on Haku. Martel alone with Tama. Martel cross body for two. Haku holds Martel at the ropes. Tama leaps and knees his own partner. Tama is shocked but Martel rolls Tama up for the three count.
-    Excellent match. IN contention for best match of the series. EASY NOMINATION.
