Terry is even more entertaining here fucking with fans, a camera man on the apron, and once again harassing Monsoon. Hulk takes Terry's hat before the match and gives it two elbow drops which was awesome and hilarious. There is a longer comedy segment in this match but it's still great. Terry just stumbles and bumbles around for Hulk and it's highly amusing and great. The layout of this match is the same as the later one with Terry doing great heeling. The finish is the same too but Hulk's boot shot isn't as nasty. These matches are fucking entertaining as hell. EDIT: This can be found on the Philly Spectrum 12/7/85 Disc.
February 25, 201312 yr comment_5536887 This is a real fun match. Exposer covers all the key points pretty good. The Monsoon interaction comes across as a shoot. I'd give it a low end nomination. Funk was on fire playing crazy Terry Funk. Hulk's charisma is off the charts, and this makes for a fun match.
June 23Jun 23 comment_6031699 HULK HOGAN vs TERRY FUNK (12/07/1985; WWF Philadelphia Spectrum; 00:19:46) - Terry Funk & jimmy Hart Interview with Killer Kal. - Hogan gets a huge reaction in the baby blue gear. Terry is still in his cowboy gear. Hogan grabbed his hat, knocked Terry off the apron and elbowed his cowboy hat. That’s fucked up. Hogan chops Funk 3 times and he goes over the top. Hogan running the ropes and stepping on Terry each time was great. This is followed by Terry running the ropes while Hogan stands and watches him. This has been all bullshit and is a complete blast, One man show Terry Funk. Hogan gets backed into the ropes and tied up and now Funk uses this time to attack. Hogan is now on the floor and Funk is getting his tape prepared and chokes Hogan with the tape while pretending to be in a chin lock. Evil. Funk is full offense now. Piledriver, Foot scrape on the face. Funk sets up the sleeper. Hogan fights back. SHOOT HEADBUTTS! Terry doesn’t know he is supposed to lay down for the clothesline and big boot. Suplex inside the ring but Funk falls on top for two. Damn! Hogan grabs a boot from Jimmy hart and clobbers Funk with it for the win. Fucking wild post-match too with Funk hitting Hogan with a bell and Hogan clearing the ring with a chair. This was AWESOME. EASY NOMINATION.
