JYD is out there with Hulk to keep Jimmy Hart in line. Terry does his best bumping in this match as he just flies and tumbles all over the place for Hulk's offense. He's not as interactive with the non-participants but he still is a riot tossing a chair in the ring and Hulk sitting in it and mocking him. Terry does his usual heeling with the wrist tape and piledriver combo for a nearfall. Hulk comes back and has the upperhand then Jimmy gets involved and Terry almost gets the win but Hulk has his foot on the rope after a suplex reversed into a cross body. Hulk wins with a tremendous clothesline that Terry bumps great for. This match and their 12/15 match are too really great matches and should probably be on the set.
June 23Jun 23 comment_6031717 HULK HOGAN vs TERRY FUNK (01/04/1986; WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event; 00:14:44) - Jimmy Hart + Junkyard Dog Water Slide Race. EXTRA. - Terry Funk Interview / Hulk Hogan Interview. - The atmosphere is insane. From the Philly match, we get Hogan stepping on Funk in a crisscross. Hogan gets his headbutts in and a trick knee. Terry goes to the top and gets crotched in ultimate karma. Hogan hits a clothesline, drops the big elbow and then Jimmy Hart grabs the leg. Hart runs under the ring. Funk uses his wrist tape to choke Hogan similar to the Philly match. Funk hits the piledriver and Hogan barely kicks out. Terry Funk using his great punches as Hogan hulks up. They do the spot where Hogan brings Funk land son Hogan after the apron suplex attempt. However, here Hogan hits a clothesline for the three count. Terry throws chairs in the ring in disgust. This definitely deserves a SOLID NOMINATION but is it different enough form the 12/85 matches to warrant 2 matches on the same set?
