This match has garnered a lot of praise from our resident Demolition fans. I thought I'd go ahead and check it out. It's pretty clear to me that The Rockers are the best part of this. The crowd helps the matches case as well. I've discovered (and can confirm) that Barry Darsow is not very good at all. Shawn and Marty did a really good job of covering up his garbage in this match. Bill Eadie seems to be competent but not by any means outstanding. This starts out pretty good with Eadie clubbering Shawn pretty severely. Shawn fights back however and soon enough The Rockers are making this match by going 100 miles an hour with fast pace offense. There is a really cool spot where Shawn goes for a cross body but Eadie catches him and slams him down. Shawn and Marty take turns dropkicking Darsow in a fun spot that got the crowd riled up. Darsow takes a lot of arm wringers and top rope chops to the shoulder from Shawn and Marty and the crowd is apeshit. Darsow stooges in an amusing way that isn't necessarily good but entertaining nonetheless. Eadie comes in and headbutts the fuck out of Marty who sells it like a cannon shot. Marty bumps terrifically for the Demo's offense. There's one point where Eadie gives him a fairly lackluster whip into the turnbuckle and Marty just goes full speed and violently collides into it. Shawn gets in some fun offense before taking a ludicrous bump to the floor after Eadie held down the ropes. So far this match has been very good but then Darsow is asked to continue doing body part work. The Rockers are incredibly popular so the crowd keeps the heat segment engaging. Darsow applies a terrible Boston Crab and Alfred calls him out on it. Eadie finally comes in and makes this segment a bit more interesting. They do a bear hug spot which I didn't mind too much. Shawn got the hot tag and Marty comes in like a house of fire. The finishing run of this match is really excellent actually. Shawn and Marty do their usual exciting offense and weaken the Demo's. There's a really tremendous and convincing near fall off of a Rocket Launcher. The finish is horribly violent with Darsow applying a bearhug on Marty followed by Eadie obliterating Marty with a vicious arm strike to the face (It didn't seem to be a clothesline). Marty sold it like he was whiplashed and the Demo's retained their belts. The crowd was excellent in this match and saved a portion of the heat segment. Darsow was particularly bad for the Demo's. Other than that this was a very good tag match with several really good spots and a great finish.

Demolition vs. The Rockers (MSG 10/24/88)
-    Wow, the Rockers are taking it to Demolition. The Rockers hit three consecutive drop kicks on Smash and they all connected. With Marty Jannetty, that is huge!!!! The Rockers constant tagging in and out keeps the match moving and the crowd into it. The Demolition taking over was not bad at all. We missed a little because of the commercial break but the ending was exciting as hell and I thought the Rockers were going to win with the big splash. Apparently so did the Garden. The shoot forearm clothesline bomber from Superstar absolutely knocked Jannetty the fuck out. This is by far the best Demolition match I have ever seen. STRONG NOMINATION.

Devon, revisit this match!!!!!
