I consider this an easy nomination because even though I doubt it would finish in many people's top ten, it is one of the best midget matches I've ever seen and is about as fun a match as I have ever seen out of Portland. Tons of awesome shit here and I thought they did a great job mixing in the whacky midget spots with the Rose's fear of Boyd. Cowboy Lange as as the baddest little man in the World was awesome in this and Rose was so fucking great playing off of all of the spots the little guys were doing. Boyd was also great, throwing up stop signs on midget rope running spots, and letting himself be used as a prop for cheapshots on Rose from the little guys. The chickenfight spots had me and the wife laughing our asses off and I liked the finish to this a lot as well. Extremely enjoyable match from bell-to-bell with no down time. It would be a really good "break" on a set that is likely to feel "long" to a lot of fans not used to the 2/3 falls format.

 

Post-match with Rose killing Cowboy Lange with the Robinson backbreaker was great too

Buddy Rose, Little Tokyo & Billy the Kid vs. Jonathan Boyd, Lone Eagle & Cowboy Lang - To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing this on a set if only for Buddy's comedic antics. Seriously, his interaction with the midgets and avoidance of Boyd is great. I want you guys to watch this stuff before I nominate it but I thought it was great for the comedy even if the wrestling was minimal. I mean, seriously, have you ever seen a game of chicken in a wrestling match before???
