Opening fall was pretty fun as they mixed in solid work, with quality spots. It doesn't hurt that Borne is extremely over with every movement he makes. Regal had his back worked on and they teased a Rose backbreaker, but Regal slips over and hits a victory roll for a really unique and cool finish.

I like the fact that the heels immediately went back to work on Regal's back in the second fall. You could argue that the bearhug stuff wasn't very engaging, but it never felt like they totally lost the crowd and I don't think this was any better or worse the heat segment from the Rose/Destroyer match I just watched. Interesting spin as Borne ends up on the defensive after a flurry when Rose hits a nice delayed vertical and a big splash for a near fall. Borne is awesome with his frantic escapes of Masters full nelson attempts and I gotta give Regal credit for an excellent looking dropkick off the hot tag. Awesome finish to this fall as the heels do a blind tag and Buddy gets the backbreaker off of a drop down spot for the fall.

Regal's back is still the target at the beginning of the third fall but he quickly spins out and tags in Borne. Borne locks on the airplane spin, but Masters sneaks in before he can get in a cover and locks on a full nelson. Regal tries to break it up, but Masters folds forward on Borne and the ref tosses the match out as Masters refuses to release the hold.

I really enjoyed this match despite the obvious limitations of Regal and Masters. I am lukewarm enough about portions of the first and second fall to keep this "low end," but it is something I would argue for as part of a top 75 at the moment.
