Posted July 12, 201213 yr comment_5510023 DISC #1 3/1/80 - 22:00 Roddy Piper/Luke Williams Hair Match - already reviewed 9/6/80 - Rip Oliver/Buddy Rose - Roddy Piper/Mike Popovitch 2/3 - They spent most of the match building tension by keeping Rose and Piper apart, which paid off with big responses whenever Roddy got his hands on Buddy. I liked the end of the first fall, with Buddy submitting after Roddy pounded on his arm, which Popovitch had worked over quite a bit. But the last two falls, with the heels isolating Popovitch and Buddy cheating to pin Piper, didn't do a ton for me. This worked as a TV match to build for the Piper-Rose singles matches the following two weeks. But it doesn't need to be on the set. 9/13/80 - Rose - Piper 2/3 - already reviewed
