The handheld is interesting because it captures the intensity of a non-TV crowd, which was pretty great. Buddy jumped Boyd shortly after he entered the cage and controlled for the first few minutes, though he didn't do anything terribly interesting. The best moments of the match were Boyd's uppercut flurries and the bumps Buddy took to put them over. But low blows were key as well, with both guys going so far as to apply nerve holds near the groin. Finish came a little quickly, with Buddy taking the pin off a knee drop (delivered with Youngblood on Boyd's shoulders for some reason) after about 10 minutes. Buddy then attacked Youngblood after the match. I ended up mixed on this. They conveyed hatred, but if Buddy had been on offense a little more, they could have built more drama. Ultimately, it didn't connect deeply enough for a nomination.
