Randy Savage vs. Ted DiBiase (7/22/88 MSG)

- Cage match. Dibiase controls early and Savage is one of the best all-time sellers. There are a couple of great climbing spots with Dibiase trying to escape and Savage knocking him down with Dibiase taking a nasty bump from the top rope on the 2nd attempt. I think we also forget how great of a puncher Dibiase was but his punches all look great here. This match becomes a war with both guys throwing bombs. Great ending where Virgil tries to keep Savage from going over, a fucking fan tries to keep Virgil form interfering and Dibiase and Virgil get bumped resulting in a nice Dibiase bump and a Savage win. I enjoyed the hell out of this match but I don’t know if it would finish as high with the amount of great stuff we have discovered. EASY NOMINATION

Yeah, really great match with a fucking hot crowd and a phenomenal finishing run. That fan enhanced the craziness even more at the finish. And Savage is a selling champion. He could sell like the best. EASY NOMINATION.

It's also important to note that on Graham's site it says this took place on 6/25/88 instead of what is indicated above. We'll need to clarify that.
