Bret Hart vs Ted DiBiase (3/8/89 Odessa, TX aired Prime Time 3/20/89)

Ted DiBiase vs. Bret Hart (WWF Odessa TV taping 3/8/89)
-    Ted is forced to regroup every time he engages because Bret came to win. Old boss… meet the new boss. Ted gets tied up and Bret charges as Ted dodges and Bret gets shook. Ted takes over and keeps it moving until he decides to do the chinlock/sleeper. You have a Million Dollar Dream. Hook that in. Thankfully Bret hits some huge moves to keep it interesting but the crowd isn’t going wild. Slugfest between the two forces ted to beg off. Signature Bret offense for near falls. Bret misses another charge. DiBiase’s spinning toe hold allows Bret to kick him outside. Bret follows and they both get counted out. This was fun but more of a MIDDLE TO SOLID nomination for me. 
EDIT: I am shocked this finished so high. I feel this is the first time the voters actually got it wrong. I wasn't even that enthused with putting it on the set. Damn.
