Great match. This finished 23 on the first set. I don't think it holds up quite that well but this is still an easy nomination. Blair is fired up to start having fast paced rope running spots with Murdoch and executing some solid arm drags. Adonis comes in and gets the same treatment but bumps more intensely for Blair's offense. Adrian takes an absurd full speed turnbuckle flip bump. Backlund joins the fun and he and Blair continuously body slam Murdoch and Adonis. Eventually, Blair gets trapped in the heels corner and gets his arm worked on. Murdoch really wrenches in an arm lock and the we get a great camera angle of it. Blair keeps trying to get to Backlund for the tag but Murdoch or Adonis will always block Blair by getting on their hands and knees and tripping the weakened Blair. Blair finally gets the opening he needs by escaping a bulldog by Adrian which sends Adonis flying violently into the turnbuckle in an insane spot. Backlund gets the hot tag and cleans house for a minute but he gets overcome by the heels and is beaten to the floor. Backlund rips up the ring apron as he falls to the floor. Blair comes to the rescue but Murdoch rams him into the guardrail on the floor. Backlund gets double teamed for awhile at one point taking a really nasty throat first catapult into the bottom rope. However, Backlund strings a comeback and stumbles over to Blair for the hot tag. Adrian takes another ridiculous turnbuckle bump then gets caught in the ropes to have Murdoch swung into him. Blair gets a nearfall off of a back drop then does the abdominal stretch/pin combo. It gets broken up however and the heels give Blair a brutal backdrop/clothesline combination with Adonis nearly taking Blair's head off with the clothesline from the top rope. Murdoch and Adonis retain with the pin. This is a really great match with some awesome bumps from Adrian and good heel tag work. The finish was really good too. This holds up pretty well it seems and should finish fairly high but maybe not as high as it previously did.

-    There is a “Backlund is a Geek” sign in the audience. They really missed the boat not doing the heel gimmick in the 80s. Blair working on Dickie’s arm but Murdoch knows how to keep things moving. Arm drags for everyone. Adonis bouncing like a pinball and then an arm bar for Adonis too. Adonis and Murdoch are so great. Murdoch gets the tag and Blair gets him back in the arm bar. Awesome shine so far because of North-South bumping and making Blair look like a million bucks. Bob gets the hot tag and the crow dis not responding to him like the days of old. Bob has lost Philly. Man, Bob vs, Murdoch would have been awesome in 81 or 82. Blair gets back in and the crowd comes alive. Murdoch takes control quickly. Basic cheating and ref distractions. Now the North-South are controlling the arm of Blair and he is in peril. These guys are always moving, always up to no good. Exactly what I want from a heel tag team. Adonis goes for his bulldog, gets thrown into the corner and Bob gets the tag. Bob hooks in the chicken wing but Murdoch jumps form the top and breaks it up. Great sunset flip spot where Murdoch kicks out at the same time he grabs Bob’s heel and tags Adonis. It was so seamless. Awesome. Bob is in peril and fights back to tag Blair. Now the arena is alive. Blair whips Dickie into Adonis who was on the top rope and Adonis crumples. Then Adonis is tied in the ropes and Blair whips Dickie into Adonis. Adonis is so amazing. Blair gets his Ab stretch pin and Adonis saves. North-South hit their doomsday back suplex and the pin. Awesome tag. If Bob was 1981 over, this would have beena Top 10 contender. As it is, it’s an EASY NOMINATION.
